Angel Investing 301: Investor Leadership Series
This half day course provides an investor who is interested in leading deals and sitting on the board of an early stage company with the tools to do this effectively. Material covered includes leading a due diligence team, and handling key decision points in the process such as negotiating term sheets. It also covers the fiduciary responsibilities of a board member and guidance on issues that specifically arise on the boards of early stage companies. Considerable emphasis is placed on the role of the board in steering the company towards an exit. Exercises throughout the series provide practical learning experience based on actual examples.

Angel Investing 101: Deal Making Series
This half day introductory course enables a new or prospective investor to understand how to think about angel investing as an asset class, how the investment process works, and then how to put a deal together, including valuing a company, completing due diligence, structuring a deal, essential elements in a term sheet, and closing the deal. Exercises throughout the series provide practical learning experience based on actual examples.

Angel Investing 201: Better Investing Series
This half day course enables an investor who has had some exposure to angel investing to improve their decision-making and deal skills through a more critical analysis of the market opportunity, a more detailed review of the term sheet, and a more in depth understanding of the capital structure of early stage companies. Exercises throughout the series provide practical learning experience based on actual examples.

Effective Board Membership
This course provides important information that all potential board members should know, ranging from fiduciary duties to best practices for effective board membership. Material covered includes understanding board member roles and responsibilities, and an overview of Sarbanes-Oxley implications for private companies. Attendees will gain an understanding on issues that specifically arise on the boards of early stage companies and how to handle such issues, with outlines of best practices and processes.
