Angel Investing 101 to be held in Boston Nov 10th

Our popular Angel Investing 101 course will be held from 1pm to 5pm in Boston on Tuesday November 10th from 1pm to 5pm at the offices of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge, 111 Huntingdon Ave, Boston, MA.

New and prospective members of Golden Seeds are welcome, as well as their guests. Members of the Angel Capital Association New England are also welcome. ACA members will receive a $50 discount from the registration fee, and Golden Seeds members receive a $100 discount.

Prior to the New York Forum on October 8th Richard Sudek, Chairman Emeritus of Tech Coast Angel and a Professer at Chapman University will be discussing his research on decision making by angel investors.

Prior to the Boston Forum on October 15th, Anita Brearton and Sheryl Shultz will be presenting a training session on Search Engine Marketing.

Investor Training September 23rd 2008

Our next quarterly training session for new or prospective early stage venture investors/angel investors will be held on Tuesday September 23rd from 9am to 1 pm in mid-town Manhattan. The sessions include:

  • The Investment Process
  • The Due Diligence Process
  • Valuing Early State Companies
  • Structuring the Deal
  • Term Sheets & Closing Documents

The sessions are geared for new and prospective investors, and we combine teaching instruction with workshop exercises. The atmosphere is one of "we are all learning together", and is very hands on - so bring your calculator!

Guests are welcome - please invite anyone you think might be interested. The regular cost is $285, but there is an early bird discount for registrations received before August 15th.
